More Than 20 Restaurants Opening in Lansing in 2025

The Lansing food scene is getting some major additions in 2025.

Heck, we're only three months into this year and already we've seen at least 10 coffee shops, fast-casual eateries, and restaurants open throughout the greater Lansing area.

Restaurants Opening in Lansing in 2025

We've had new places like 7 Brew Coffee, I Heart Mac & Cheese and More, Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant, and more open. Along with familiar places like Pizza Hut, Dunkin', and Wing-Stop.

However, there are still many, MANY more eateries that are slated to open sometime this year. Take a look at see which new restaurants are on the list to open in Lansing in 2025.

29° 41° Mediterranean Street Food - Lansing

This fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant is opening across the street from Eastwood Towne Center sometime in spring 2025.

Anna's House - Lansing's West Side

This breakfast spot is opening in the former Tin Can on Lansing's west side. They hope to open this fall.

Auntie Anne's Pretzels and Cinnabon - Lansing

These two places will be taking over the former Tim Horton's on Jolly near Dunckel. No word on when they'll be opening.

Former Barn Tavern - Grand Ledge

This property was purchased by the owner's of Art's Pub seven years ago, and since then, not much has been done with the space. They hope to open a restaurant there by the end of the year.

Barry Bagels - Bath Township and Okemos

This Ohio-based bagel chain is supposed to open two locations in the area. And while the one in Bath Township has some signage up, there's been no movement there for quite some time. Perhaps because a Dunkin' moved in next door? There is also no address listed for the Lansing location, only something that says, "coming soon".

Bob's Big Boy - Lansing's South Side

Formerly the location of Zeus' Restaurant. There's no word one when this is supposed to open, although it was originally expected to open at the end of 2023.

Bombay Mahal - Lansing's West Side

This Indian restaurant will be opening where Saginaw and Oakland meet on Lansing's west side sometime this spring.

Bubbakoo's Burritos - Lansing

This fusion fast-casual eatery will open near Frandor. No word on when they'll be opening just yet.

Capital City Sweets - Lansing

This dessert spot will be opening in the Red Cedar Development sometime in late March or early April.

Chick-fil-A - Lansing's South Side

This will open on Cedar Street near Edgewood Blvd. near the end of this year.

Constellation Cate Cafe - Lansing

This cat cafe is moving into its permanent home, hopefully, sometime in April.

Coratti's Pizzeria Bar and Bocce - East Lansing

This pizzeria has been in the works for two years. Now, they hope to open by August.

Dave & Buster's - Lansing

This giant restaurant and adult arcade is expected to open in Eastwood Towne Center in late spring/early summer.

D'Nulffos - East Lansing

They had hoped to open this February/March, but that hasn't happened. No word on a new expected opening date.

Fat Boy's Pizza

This new-to-Michigan pizza chain will be opening in Downtown East Lansing. No word on when just yet.

Good Truckin' Bakery - REO Town

Good Truckin' moved its restaurant from REO Town to Old Town. However, it still kept its space in REO Town, and they're turning it into a bakery. They hope to open sometime in April.

Jollof Afro-Caribbean Lounge - Lansing

Opening on Washington Square. No word just yet on when it's opening.

MACOTTA Club - Lansing

This "food incubator" intends to open in the Knapp's building downtown, bringing with it six different restaurants and "10 additional food concepts". They hope to open sometime this summer.

Okemos Coffee House - Okemos

This new coffee shop should be opening soon.

Panda Express - Okemos

Panda Express purchased the old Wheat Jewelers building in Okemos to make way for the new restaurant. They hope to open the restaurant in late 2025, maybe early 2026.

Pizzawala's - East Lansing

This Indian-inspired pizza place is a Michigan-based chain that plans to open on Grand River in Downtown East Lansing next to The Peanut Barrel. They hope to open this summer.

Savvy Sliders - East Lansing

No word on when this chain will be opening in Downtown Lansing.

Side Piece - East Lansing

The owners of Fieldhouse in East Lansing purchased the space next door and hope to open a pizza shop, hopefully this summer.

Starbucks - East Lansing

This coffee chain is setting up a new location in East Lansing next to Trader Joe's. They hope to open by late summer.
