A New Dessert Place is Opening in Lansing
If you've driven along Michigan avenue just east of 127, you may have seen the "coming soon" signage up for Capital City Sweets.
Capitals City Sweets is a brand new ice cream and cookie dough place that is going to be located within that Red Cedar development (just a few storefronts down from Hooked).
Oh, and you read that right... I said cookie dough.
What Does Capital City Sweets Make?
Capital City Sweets makes safe and ready-to-eat cookie dough in different flavors, including birthday cake, peanut butter cup, mint chip, cookies & cream, M&Ms, and your classic chocolate chip.

Plus, they're not just serving up any old ice cream; they plan on making all their ice cream in small batches in house.
Capital City Sweets definitely looks like a fun and delicious addition to the Lansing food scene.
When is Capital City Sweets Opening?
If your mouth is already watering, you'll be happy to know that you won't have to wait too long. According to signage on the store and information available on their social media, Capital City Sweets hopes to open this spring!
Plus, if there are any flavors you'd like to try, they are open to suggestion. You can request a flavor, here.
