Hold on to those lunch plans, because Lansing has another eatery that will soon be opening.

When it comes to additions to the Lansing food scene, there are a couple of sources that are a fount of knowledge, one of them being the Lansing Chowhounds Facebook group. That's where I first got wind of this upcoming eatery.

A New Eatery is Coming to Lansing

Not too long from now, Lansing will be welcoming 29° 41° Mediterranean Street Food to the dining scene.

29° 41° is actually the latitude and longitude of the Middle East and Mediterranean, which is where this culinary experience has its roots in.

29° 41° takes Mediterranean classic and puts a modern twist on them. They make the bread, pickled-veggies, and succulent meats in-house, and they serve it up in a variety of ways. You can get a flatbread, a bowl, a "stuff-it" sandwich (made with the in-house bread that's baked fresh daily), or a plate with a little bit of everything. Plus, you've got choices when it comes to sauces.

This eatery is taking up residence next to the Starbucks on the south side of Lake Lansing road, just west of 127.

When Will 29° 41° Mediterranean Street Food Open in Lansing?

After doing some light sleuthing on their website, it appears that they're planning on a spring 2025 opening. Until then, if you really want to try it out, there are locations in Auburn Hills, Bloomfield, Fenton, Royal Oak, Washington Twp, and Rochester Hills.
