A Couple New Restaurants are Coming to Lansing

Lansing's figurative cup (and plate) runneth over when it comes to restaurants and eateries. And now, we've got two more than we will soon ad to the line up.

In 2024, we saw over 20 restaurants and eateries open. In the short time of 2025, we've seen a couple places open with several more on the horizon.

One of those new places is Jollof Afro-Caribbean Lounge.

This new restaurant, lounge, and dance & night club is coming soon to Washington Square in Downtown Lansing.

Jollof Afro-Caribbean Lounge is going to offer authentic West African and Caribbean cuisine for those wishing to try out the eats. Additionally, Jollof plans on bringing "an unmatched nightlife experience to the city!"

Restaurants Opening in Lansing in 2025

No word just yet on an exact opening date. But, you can look for Jollof Afro-Caribbean Lounge to open at 221 S Washington Square.

Another restaurant that looks to open in Lansing, perhaps this year, is Crown Grill.

This new eatery is going to serve up a variety of foods, from shawarma to sea food to burgers.

There's no word on when this new eatery plans on opening. At this time, the building still looks to need some work. The windows are covered.

This is the former location of Veg-n, which has new digs in the food court of Meridian Mall.
