A New Restaurant is Coming to Lansing's West Side

This year is shaping up to be delicious for the Lansing food scene, and it's about to get even better. Lansing can look forward to another restaurant opening soon!

We're still in the first quarter of the year and already Lansing is off to an epic start for restaurant openings. A few have opened already (I Heart Mac & Cheese and More, Wings Stop, and Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant, just to give a few examples) and there are plenty more on the way!

Now, we can add this one to the list.

A New Indian Restaurant is Opening in Lansing

Lansing is going to welcome Bombay Mahal Indian Cuisine to the Lansing food scene.

This restaurant is going to be located at 2010 W Saginaw Street, right where Saginaw and Oakland merge together on Lansing's west side.

The menu there will feature over 60 dishes, including popular items such as butter chicken and tandoori chicken.

When is Bombay Mahal Indian Cuisine Opening?

According to the Lansing State Journal, Bombay Mahal Indian Cuisine is set to open its doors rather shortly here. The owner and head chef, Arosh Choudhury, hopes to open doors before the end of March.

The inside looks just about ready to open.

This will be a great addition to that part of Lansing, as the west side is lacking in Indian cuisine.

Bombay Mahal will be taking over the space of the former Chinese restaurant, Colala Express. That spot has served as home to other restaurants throughout the years, including Jumbeaux, Fork in the Road, and Skyline Coney Island.
