Lansing Police Warn Residents About New Phone Scam

There's a new phone scam to be aware of in the Lansing area. According to the Lansing Police Department, a male individual is calling residents and is identifying himself as a Lansing Police Department “Detective”. The caller then says that there is an "unpaid ticket issue" and asks to take care of the issue over the phone and requests credit card information. Lansing Police want you to know that this is a SCAM!
