Former Michigan State QB Gets the Good News

Kirk Cousins is now a starting quarterback in the NFL

After spending three years as a back up, Kirk will be the starting QB for the Redskins when they play the Dolphins in their opener. According to ESPN, coach Jay Gruden says the Redskins are "Kirk's team".

Robert Griffin III entered training camp as the starting QB, but apparently Kirk showed the coaching staff enough to win the job.
