According to MLive.com, in the latest rankings compiled by U.S. News & World Report, Michigan State University is now ranked No. 34 among public universities in the U.S. When you take private universities into consideration, MSU is ranked No. 84 overall. Our friends down the road in Ann Arbor, at the University of Michigan, moved up to No. 3 among public universities and ranked No. 25 overall in a tie with Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.

Princeton was No. 1 overall, followed by Harvard and then Columbia.
