Lansing’s Restaurant Boom Continues With New Smoothie King

Lansing saw over 50 restaurants open their doors in 2025. That was a restaurant boom of epic proportions.

It seems that 2026 is going the same way! April isn't even over yet, and so far Lansing has had 16 different places open.

Lansing’s Restaurant Boom Shows No Signs of Slowing

Now, we have another one to add to that ever-growing list of openings: Smoothie King.

Smoothie King is the latest addition to the Frandor dining scene, which has seen a lot of growth in the last few months. Bubbakoo's Burritos, YaYa's Kitchen, Shake Shack, Sunrise Chinese and Sushi, and Wingstop have all opened up in the last few months.

Where to Find the New Smoothie King in Lansing

Smoothie King—located at 3106 E Saginaw Street—had its grand opening on April 11, making it the second Smoothie King location in the Lansing area. The first location opened at 2540 E Jolly Road in the same location as a combination Auntie Anne's/Cinnabon in July 2025.
