10 Michigan Concerts You Need to See This September
September means a few things for Michigan concert-goers: slightly cooler temperatures; it's actually dark by the time the headliner takes the stage at outdoor shows; and, this year (after a relative drought the past couple months), quality country concerts are back in full force.
As always, however, there's something for everyone — even if you're not necessarily a country fan.

13-time Grammy Award winner Bonnie Raitt graces the stage at Fox Theatre in Detroit on September 13.
6. The B-52s & Devo
Like their music, a concert with The B-52s can't be compared to much else. Throw in iconic punk band Devo, and you've got a recipe for an unforgettable night. Mark your calendar for September 25 at Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston.
5. Alison Krauss & Union Station
Is she a better vocalist or a better fiddle player? Lucky for us, we don't have to decide — we can enjoy both. Alison Krauss & Union Station play Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre on September 6.
4. Tim McGraw & Travis Tritt
You couldn't turn on country radio in the 1990s without hearing a song from either Tim McGraw or Travis Tritt, and Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort in Mount Pleasant hosts both of them on the same night September 26.
3. Jason Aldean
Michigan gets three shows from country hitmaker Jason Aldean this September — one on the 4th at Van Andel Arena, followed by back-to-back nights at Pine Knob the 11th and 12th.
2. Lainey Wilson
Lainey Wilson is the Academy of Country Music's reigning Entertainer of the Year. She's got shows at Pine Knob on September 26 and Van Andel Arena on September 27.
