9 Michigan Concerts You Absolutely Can’t Miss This October
The summer concert season is behind us in Michigan, but there are still some great shows coming to the Mitten State this October.
Here are 9 of our favorites.
9. Niko Moon
Niko Moon brings a good time to The Fillmore in Detroit on Saturday, October 17.

His Back to My Roots Tour feels like a pretty natural fit for a Saturday night, especially if his hit "Good Time" has ever been on your weekend soundtrack.
8. Chris Janson
Chris Janson kicks off the Potter Center's season at Jackson College in Jackson on Sunday, October 4.

If you've ever cranked up "Buy Me a Boat," "Fix a Drink," or "Good Vibes," you already know this probably isn't going to be a sit-there-politely kind of night.
7. Grand Funk Railroad
Grand Funk Railroad rolls into the Potter Center on Saturday, October 24.

This "American Band" (from Flint) is still rocking more than five decades after bursting onto the scene.
6. Sugarland
Sugarland hits FireKeepers Casino in Battle Creek on Saturday, October 24, bringing The Ride or Die Tour to Michigan.

Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush are celebrating 20 years of Enjoy the Ride, which means "Stay," "Settlin'," and a whole lot of 2000s country memories.
5. Zach Top
Zach Top takes over Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids on Saturday, October 17, with Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives along for the ride.

If you like your country with plenty of fiddles and steel guitars, this is one you should definitely circle the date for.
4. The Jonas Brothers
The Jonas Brothers bring The Burning Up Tour All Over Again to Little Caesars Arena in Detroit on Sunday, October 25.

Not sure how we reached the point where the Jonas Brothers are nostalgia, but here we are.
3. The Red Clay Strays
The Red Clay Strays bring their Grateful Tour to Van Andel Arena on Saturday, October 3, with The Revivalists and Haley Reinhart.

The guys have gone from a roots band to arena headliners in a hurry, and they're the reigning Group of the Year from both the CMAs and ACMs.
2. Dan + Shay
You've got two chances to see Dan + Shay in Michigan on back-to-back nights: Friday, October 2 at Acrisure Amphitheater in Grand Rapids, then Saturday, October 3 at Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston.

Tyler Hubbard and Josh Ross are coming too.

1. Doja Cat
Doja Cat opens the month at Little Caesars Arena on Thursday, October 1, with Latto joining her on the Tour Ma Vie World Tour.

If you're looking for pure star power, production, and the kind of show social media will be buzzing about the following morning, this one's far and away the biggest show in Michigan this October.
