Top 12 Michigan Concerts Not to Miss This June
If there's one thing Michigan does right, it's summer concert season. And this June? It's stacked.
We've got country megastars. We've got legendary rock acts. We've got once-in-a-generation performers.

If you're trying to figure out which Michigan concerts are actually worth the ticket money this June, here are my 12 you absolutely shouldn't miss.
12. Kesha
Glitter. Nostalgia. Loud pop anthems. All the things.
Kesha plays Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston on June 5.
11. Parker McCollum
Parker McCollum has quietly become one of country music's most dependable live acts. Big crowd energy, emotional songs, and enough hits now that even casual fans know more words than they realize.
Parker plays Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill in Sterling Heights on June 5, then travels across the state to Acrisure Amphitheater in Grand Rapids the next night.
10. Chicago
Some bands age. Chicago is just always going to be Chicago.
Seeing them at an intimate venue like Detroit's Fox Theatre on June 29 will feel less like a concert and more like a history-making musical event.
9. Josh Groban and Jennifer Hudson
Is Little Caesars Arena big enough to hold all this vocal talent? We're about to find out.
Josh Groban and Jennifer Hudson come to Detroit together on June 25.
8. Paul Simon
You don't pass on a chance to see Paul Simon if you can help it. Simple as that. Some artists transcend generations, and he's one of them.
Paul Simon plays Meadow Brook Amphitheatre in Rochester Hills on June 20.
7. Megan Moroney
Megan Moroney's rise has been insane to watch. She's gone from "one to watch" to full-on country headliner in what seems like the blink of an eye.
Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids is going to be loud for this one — June 19.
6. David Lee Roth
Sure. There are more polished rock shows out there. That's not the point. David Lee Roth concerts are about swagger, ridiculousness, and pure old-school rock chaos.
He plays FireKeepers Casino in Battle Creek on June 13.
5. Darius Rucker
Darius Rucker is the perfect show to catch at Grand Rapids' new Acrisure Amphitheater this summer.
You and your buds singing "Wagon Wheel" at the top of your lungs with a few thousand new friends. Book it for June 25 in G.R.; catch the encore at Pine Knob two nights later.
4. Sammy Hagar & Rick Springfield
Two legends for the price of one!
This might be one of the most fun shows on this entire list. Just wall-to-wall singalong songs and summer energy from two guys who still absolutely know how to work a crowd.
Sammy Hagar and Rick Springfield play Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort in Mt. Pleasant on June 17, then Pine Knob two nights later.
3. Santana and the Doobie Brothers
Another double bill that's gonna bring the nostalgia hard.
Santana and the Doobie Brothers share the stage at Acrisure Amphitheater in Grand Rapids on June 15, then Pine Knob on June 18.
2. Jelly Roll
Jelly Roll is a master at connecting with crowds. Doesn't matter if fans came from country, rock, hip-hop or TikTok — his shows feel personal in a way most concerts don't.
Catch Jelly at Acrisure Amphitheater in Grand Rapids on June 13.
1. Journey
Look. It doesn't matter that Steve Perry's no longer with the band. Journey brings one banger after another and this show will be Michigan's feel-good concert of the month.
They play Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids on June 14.
