This delicious, and at times spicy, Lansing tradition continues this Friday. The Chili Cook-off will take place at Adado Riverfront Park from 5:30 (or 5 if you have the fast pass) until 9 pm. You'll get to sample from dozens of vendors, and even more chili recipes! And, there's something for everyone; spicy, traditional no-bean chili, vegan, or meatless.The theme this year is Music Mania! This is a two-day festival that is taking place in Old Town Lansing, celebrating the music, food, and drink of Germany. You can purchase one or two-day tickets and enjoy a variety of Oktoberfest beers as well as some German cuisine..Plus, there will be a variety of live music and polka dancing lessons throughout the weekend! The Color Run, aka "The Happiest 5K On The Planet", will be taking place throughout Downtown Lansing this weekend! All participants are encouraged to wear white because at different points through the course, they'll get dowsed with colored powder.
