If you thought 2025 was a good year for restaurant openings in Lansing, hold on to your to-go container, because 2026 is stacking up pretty well so far.

2025 saw more than 50 restaurants open or re-open their doors throughout the Greater Lansing area. And before 2026 started, we knew that we were going to continue to see growth because so many more restaurants announced openings.

Restaurants That Have Opened in Lansing So Far in 2026

More than 20 restaurants were planning to open before the start of 2026, and some of them have already opened their doors. Here's a look at everything that's opened in Greater Lansing so far this year.

The Flaky Croissant

This cafe and pastry shop opened in East Lansing in early March.

Wing Stop

Located right next to Shake Shack by Frandor, this wing restaurant opened on March 28.

Babe's Corner

This favorite sandwich shop of Lansing moved from its original location. It can now be found on Washington Avenue in the same spot at Strange Matter Coffee Co and Bangos.
