2026 Lansing Restaurants Now Open

If you thought 2025 was a good year for restaurant openings in Lansing, hold on to your to-go container, because 2026 is stacking up pretty well so far.

2025 saw more than 50 restaurants open or re-open their doors throughout the Greater Lansing area. And before 2026 started, we knew that we were going to continue to see growth because so many more restaurants announced openings.

Restaurants That Have Opened in Lansing So Far in 2026

More than 20 restaurants were planning to open before the start of 2026, and some of them have already opened their doors. Here's a look at everything that's opened in Greater Lansing so far this year.

Fidler's on the Grand

This beloved Lansing restaurant reopened after being closed for more than three years.

PetalPop Cafe

This cafe opened its doors in March.

Cinnamon Lane Bakery

This bakery opened its second location in Old Town in February.

Kindred Table

This new restaurant opened inside the Crowne Plaza in the former Bordeaux.

ATS (Airport Tavern Steakhouse)

This reopened with a new name and under new management

Altu's Ethiopian Cuisine and Bar

A second location opened in Okemos on March 14. It also serves breakfast.

Sunrise Chinese Food & Sushi

YaYa's Kitchen

YaYa's is officially back in Lansing after closing a few years ago. It opened in March just north of Frandor.

Shake Shack

Bubbakoo's Burritos

Foxtail Coffee

This Florida-based coffee chain opened on March 31 in Downtown East Lansing.

Auxo Winery

Opened in Charlotte on March 13.

Okemos Coffee Shop

This community-oriented coffee shop opened on March 20.

The Flaky Croissant

This cafe and pastry shop opened in East Lansing in early March.

Wing Stop

Located right next to Shake Shack by Frandor, this wing restaurant opened on March 28.

Babe's Corner

This favorite sandwich shop of Lansing moved from its original location. It can now be found on Washington Avenue in the same spot at Strange Matter Coffee Co and Bangos.
