Taco Tuesday just got an upgrade.

If you're a loyal Hela's Kitchen customer, you know the struggles they've faced recently.

What Happened to Hela’s Kitchen?

On January 24, this year, Hela's Kitchen announced the sad news that they would be closed for some time. In a Facebook post about the incident, the restaurant shared photos of severe interior damage.

Pipes in the ceiling burst, causing significant damage and parts of the ceiling to collapse.

Since then, Hela's Kitchen has been closed for repairs to be made.

Now, the Lansing favorite has reopened its doors!

Hela’s Kitchen Officially Reopens

The grand re-opening happened on April 11, almost three months after the damage took place. And patrons are so happy to see Hela's Kitchen return!

With over 500 reactions, 100 comments, and 300 shares on the Facebook post announcing the reopening, you can tell this restaurant was missed.
