Longtime Favorite Riedy’s Tavern in Charlotte to Close After 46 Years
The Greater Lansing food scene is about to lose a longtime favorite restaurant.
Riedy's Tavern in downtown Charlotte will soon be closing its doors.
The owner, 71-year-old Dan Riedy, has decided to retire. So, the business will be closing with Dan's retirement.
Dan and Riedy's Tavern have been integral to the community for 46 years. In that time Dan ran three different Riedy's locations (Charlotte, Potterville, and Eaton Rapids), participated in countless fundraisers and school events, and helped numerous sports teams. Whether it was making pizza or pasta, and then serving it up, Dan was there.
