On a day like today (when police officials were working almost 30 accidents at one time) I felt the need to share some of my pet peeves about Michigan drivers. (These really include ALL drivers--NOT just Michigan drivers.) One of the obvious problems with drivers is that they simply need to SLOW DOWN. Another obvious example is people who use their phone while driving. It's illegal to text while driving--so STOP doing it. That being said, there are some other things that drivers do that drive my crazy...I'd like to share my top 3 pet peeves:

1. Please stop pulling out in front of people and then proceed to drive 5-10 mph BELOW the speed limit--especially if there was only one car on the road at the time. If you can't wait that extra second or two for a driver to pass before you pull out, it probably means you're in some sort of big rush, so then, why do you suddenly drive so slow in front of the car that you just cut off?

2. Stop hitting your brakes BEFORE you turn your blinker/signal on. It should be turn signal first, THEN brakes.

And last but certainly not least--3. Stop driving by school buses when their red lights are flashing. Believe it or not, the safety of the children on that bus is DEFINITELY more important than anything you have going on in your life.

Okay. I feel a little better now. Thanks for letting me vent...Can you relate to some of these? Or is it just me?
