Authorities Searching For Suspect Involved In Shooting On Lansing’s East Side

If you live on Lansing's East Side, here's something to be aware of.

According to WILX, at about 11:30 this morning, "a man was found shot in the leg in the 100 block of South Clemens Ave, just south of Michigan Avenue." The man was taken to Sparrow Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities used a canine unit to search the area, but have yet to find the suspect. Police also "believe robbery may have been the motivation" for this shooting. No description of the shooter has been released at this time. Hopefully we'll have more updates soon.
