300 N Clippert St, Lansing - This eatery took over the space of the former Apple Jade in Frandor in early March.
ATS of Lansing
5000 N Grand River, Lansing - ATS opened in March and ushered in a new era for those that knew and loved The Airport Tavern and Steakhouse. New name, new owner, updated menu, same old school vibes.
Cinnamon Lane Bakery

119 E César E. Chávez Avenue, Lansing - Cinnamon Lane Bakery opened its second location in Old Town Lansing in February.
YaYa's Kitchen

716 N. Clippert Ave, Lansing - YaYa's Kitchen returns to Lansing about a half a block down from the previous location that abruptly closed in June 2023.
Altu's Ethiopian Cuisine

4738 Central Park Drive, Okemos - This is the second Lansing area location for Altu's, with the original location on Michigan Avenue in East Lansing being there for 30 years. This location opened on March 14.

519 W. Ionia St, Lansing - This breakfast and lunch cafe opened its doors in the former Belen's Flowers, and they've kept the flower theme throughout the decor and the menu.

431 E. Grand River Ave, East Lansing - This Florida-based coffee chain opened its East Lansing location in late March.

3106 E Saginaw St, Lansing - This popular burger and shake chain opened on February 18 in the former Rite Aid near Frandor.

3101 E Saginaw St, Lansing - This fast-casual eatery opened on February 16 in the former Big John's Steak & Onion near Frandor.

19 E. Five Point Hwy, Charlotte - This winery opened on March 13 serving a variety of wine, hard cider, and snacks.
Okemos Coffee Shop

1732 Hamilton Road, Okemos - This locally owned and community-oriented coffee shop opened its funky doors in March. In addition to delicious coffee, you'll find immaculate vibes and lots of cool local art.

4480 S. Hagadorn Road, Okemos - The Flaky Croissant opened in early March by the same owners as the former Chapelure.

Babe's Corner

331 S Washington Square, Lansing - Babe's Corner moved from its original location on Michigan Avenue to its new home with Strange Matter Coffee Co. in Downtown Lansing. They reopened in February.
Hela's Kitchen

1909 W Saginaw St, Lansing - Hela's Kitchen closed on January 24 when the building suffered severe damage but reopened on April 11.
Smoothie King

3106 E. Saginaw St, Lansing - Smoothie King opened in former Rite Aid location near Frandor in April.

6430 S Cedar St, Lansing - The second Lansing Chick-fil-A (and the third in the area) opened on April 7.
Einstein Bros. Bagels

505 E Grand River Ave, East Lansing - Einstein Bros. Bagels opened on May 2 in the former Bruegger's Bagels location.
University Weiner

325 Riverfront Drive, Lansing - University Weiner opened its second location inside Lansing Shuffle on May 29.
