Another Restaurant is Closing, This Time in East Lansing
We seem to be in an era of an ever-growing list of restaurant closures.
And sadly, there is another one we have to add to the list, this time in East Lansing.
East Lansing Restaurant to Close Their Doors for the Last Time
As it almost always seems to be, the Lansing Foodies Facebook group seemed to be the first to know that Black Cat Bistro was closing. One member has recently patronized the business, and while there, they were informed of the closure.
I went in search of some answers but didn't find any on Black Cat Bistro's website or their Facebook page. So, I gave them a call and this is what I learned.
When is Black Cat Bistro Closing?
Black Cat Bistro in East Lansing is going to be closing this weekend. The last day will be on Sunday, September 17th. If you want to say goodbye, now is the time to do it.

If you're wondering why Black Cat Bistro is closing, you're not the only one. So I went in search of that answer as well.
Why is Black Cat Bistro Closing?
Black Cat Bistro is closing because the owners want to take that space in a new direction. And that direction would be a Mexican eatery, called Los Tres Mex Grill.
According to Lansing State Journal, the permits have been approved, and we could see Los Tres Mex Grill open as soon as sometime in November.
So while one restaurant may be closing, another is opening in its stead. Goodbye, Black Cat Bistro.
