5 Things About Morgan Wallen

Morgan Wallen will be joining us tonight for the WITL Country Christmas Party.

I don't think he'd be surprised or upset to know you just Googled, "Who the heck is Morgan Wallen?"

To get you up to speed, here's a couple of things you need to know about Morgan Wallen:

1. He went to the same high school in east Tennessee as Kenny Chesney - Gibbs High School in Corryton, just north of Knoxville.

2. He was a good enough baseball pitcher in high school that he got offers from major colleges and might have been headed to a pro career. And then his elbow blew out.

3. He'd never seen "The Voice" TV show before his mom signed him up to audition. He didn't win, but he made it to The Playoffs on Season 6 and it was enough to get him noticed by the right people in the music business.

4. He released his EP in July and is currently working on his album.

5. His EP and his first hit is called, "The Way I Talk". I'm sure you'll here it tonight at the WITL Country Christmas Party.
