The concert landscape in Michigan looks a little different this July as compared to recent years, with the annual Faster Horses Music Festival on hiatus.

As a matter of fact, it's a light month for country fans as a whole, with only two country representatives on our list of Michigan's Top 10 can't-miss concerts of July 2025. (Fear not country folk — things ramp up again for you in August.)

Vince Gill is widely regarded as one of the purest male voices in country music history, having won the CMA Award for Male Vocalist of the Year 5 times back in the 90s. He plays a solo show at Fox Theatre in Detroit on July 24.

Two of the most unavoidable pop-rock bands of the mid-1990s descend upon Meadow Brook Amphitheatre in Rochester Hills on July 11. Blues Traveler ("Run-Around" and "Hook") and Gin Blossoms ("Found Out About You" and "Hey Jealousy") will co-headline, with Spin Doctors ("Little Miss Can't Be Wrong" and "Two Princes") opening the show.

A co-founder of Creedence Clearwater Revival who had a successful solo career in his own right, John Fogerty is still touring the country at the age of 80. He plays FireKeepers Casino in Battle Creek on July 17.

4. Country Roads Music Festival

Colt Ford, Drew Baldridge and Restless Road are among the headliners at the inaugural Country Roads Music Festival, taking place at The Groves of Michigan in Brooklyn July 18 through 20. A slew of Michigan-based talent will also be taking the stages, including Cooper Johnson, the Jessie Campbell Band, and Madison Olivia.
