The Michigan DNR Has A Job For YOU
Officials are looking for volunteers to serve as campground hosts next year at Michigan state parks and recreation areas. According to the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, campground hosts will be responsible for 30 hours of service per week. Now, keep in mind--and this is pretty important---in exchange for their 30 hours, hosts will get to stay at the campground for free. (There's no pay involved here, however, there's a free campsite...)
What does a campground host have to do? Well, I'm glad you asked! Responsibilities include helping campers find their campsite, planning activities, answering any questions about the park and some 'light' maintenance.
