Seriously – You’re Picking Michigan to Win the National Championship?

Michigan Wolverine fans are understandably excited about Jim Harbaugh taking over as their new head football coach this season. But the Wolverines are not ranked and they're five and a half point underdogs in their first game against Utah. In fact, according to the Free Press, odds makers have Michigan at 100-1 odds to win the NCAA championship.

But that's not stopping anybody in Vegas. Michigan fans (and I suppose, a few people who see 100-1 and say, "what the heck") have made the Wolverines the fifth highest in terms of amount of money bet to win the championship.

BTW, Michigan State's odds are 25-1 right now.

Ohio State is picked to win by the odds makers and has had WAY more money bet on them than any other team.
