Last week, Harper Creek High School golfer Jack Kyger was playing golf at the Battle Creek Country Club in the Gene Lewis Hughes, Sr. Memorial Golf Outing, which raises money for the Battle Creek Cancer Care Center. He was playing with his dad in his foursome, when they came to hole #4. And that's when Jack got his first hole-in-one. That hole also just happened to be the "get a hole-in-one and win this car" hole. So now, Jack is the owner of a brand new Cadillac, worth $50,000.

I didn't think the MSHAA would let jack keep the car and still be eligible to play high school golf next year, but I was wrong. According to the Detroit Free Press, "Kyger also added he has already spoken to the Michigan High School Athletic Association and he said, because the event happened in the summer, it does not affect his eligibility to play high school golf next year."

Jack actually has a choice now - he can take the Cadillac or he can have the $50,000 in cash. Hmmm. I don't know, Jack - rolling up on that first day as a senior, in a Caddy? Choose wisely, young Jedi.
