Yes, Sparty Can Actually Come to Your Wedding
Did you know you can request Sparty to come to your wedding?
Yes, the Sparty. Only one of the most recognizable mascots in college football history.

If you're an MSU alum, your future spouse is, or you're both just big MSU fans, getting Sparty to come to your wedding reception could be the thing that everybody talks about for years to come.
And don't worry, Sparty even comes dressed for the event wearing his tuxedo with tails!

How to Get Sparty at Your Wedding
If you really want Sparty to be a guest at your wedding, there are a few different things you'll want to plan for:
- This is a request for Sparty to attend your wedding. A request does not guarantee Sparty is available.
- Sparty is not available on game days, home or away. And just keep in mind, Sparty is a pretty busy guy during the school year anyway.
- You need to make your request at least two months in advance. But the earlier the better!
- Since Sparty is such a busy guy, he cannot confirm appearances sooner than one month before the event date.
- Sparty can only hang out for up to 45 minutes.
How Much Does It Cost to Have Sparty at Your Wedding?
Also keep in mind that you'll want to budget for his appearance, because it's not inexpensive. Sparty's appearance fees vary based on the organization and type of event, and for weddings it costs $1,500 plus travel expenses.
