Sail the Great Lakes For Your Summer Job!

Once again, for 2018, the BaySail organization is looking for deckhands this summer for their schooners. You'll be part of the crew on the Appledore IV or Appledore V. The two ships are used for their Windward Bound sail training voyages for kids aged 14 to 18.

You have to be 16 to be employed on the ships. You'll be paid and get room and meals for the summer. According to MLive.com, you don't HAVE to have sailing experience, but it might help.

And if get hired, you can spend all fall wearing a captain's hat and calling everybody, "landlubbers".
