Season Outlook:
The Shamrocks have only six starters returning from a strong squad last year. But 11th year head coach Pat Russman thinks his team can reload with several players, who were on the Division 4 state championship baseball team back in June, joining this year's football squad.
Russman credits his staff, especial defensive coordinator Ben Cross for the program's success in its transition from 11-man to 8-man football. The schedule is very manageable and it would not be a huge surprise if the Shamrocks went 9-0 again in 2017.
