What a terrific time it was again this year at the Board of Water and Light Chili Cook Off at Cooley Law School Stadium, the home of the Lansing Lugnuts and Lansing Ignite FC.

The 24th annual event featured 18 different vendors, including local restaurants, non-profits, businesses and organizations who got together to make their best chili for thousands to sample and also to compete to benefit a bunch of great causes. Like Impression 5 Science Center, Pennies for Power and the H.O.P.E. Scholarship Program.

The Chili Dog Eating Contest happened again this year, as contestants ate as many chili dogs as they could in four minutes. The Board of Water and Light Chili Cook Off also featured live music and a merchandise area and families were able to enjoy the play area at the stadium.
