Lansing Lugnuts Have A New Logo
It's been 25 years? How can that be?
But indeed, it has. The Lansing Lugnuts have been playing at the old ball yard downtown for a quarter of a century! Now, where does 25 years go?
Throughout the two an a half decades of the Lugnuts history, they have been responsible for great entertainment and great family memories, made both in the enjoyment of sports and other events held at Cooley Law School Stadium.
To commemorate this milestone the Lugnuts today released their 25th Anniversary logo which will be worn on team uniforms in what promises to be a great season. According to the Lansing Lugnuts website:
As part of the celebration, the Lugnuts will be throwing it back to the first baseball game played at the stadium - played not by the Nuts, but between Michigan State and Michigan on April 3rd, 1996. The 25th season will have a similar feel, as the Spartans take on the rival Wolverines on April 14th at Cooley Law School Stadium, followed by Opening Day on April 16th as the Lugnuts host the Dayton Dragons.
And that's just the beginning. Check out more info here from the Lugnuts website and make it a point to come out to the ballgames this year. You're going to have a good time.
