(Photos) My Harry Potter Night With The Lansing Lugnuts

Saturday night was a big night at Cooley Law School Stadium downtown as the Lansing Lugnuts hosted Harry Potter fans, young and old alike, for "Harry Potter Night."

Now, I have never read any of the Harry Potter books, and I have only seen maybe two or three of the Harry Potter movies, so this I believe put me in a very, very small group of people at Cooley on the big night. It looked like the stadium was packed with die hard fans who knew a lot about their favorite wizard (Harry Potter is a wizard, right?) and the other legendary characters from the books and movies.

I have to admit that I was expecting to see a lot of people wearing those famous Harry Potter glasses as they were brandishing magic wands. I didn't see very many at all. I did see a lot of happy kids and adults wearing the commemorative jersey from the evening and a witch and wizard here and there.

One thing is for sure, everyone seemed to be having a really terrific time on this special night with the Lugnuts.
