Michigan’s Retiree Health Care Bills Will Not Be Put Through This Year
Michigan lawmakers have decided that bills relating to retiree health care will not be addressed, at least this year.
MLive reports that this decision was announced just a little bit ago, when just this morning, "dozens of firefighters and police rallied outside the House Office Building". The reason for their gathering? One fear is that these bills would badly hurt the retiree health care benefits that police and firefighters would receive.
At this time, the bills are just on pause. Read more about the future of these bills, HERE.
