Michigan has several hundred moose - and that number is growing.

Canada has between 500,000 and a million moose. And sometimes they show up in larger cities, like Calgary.

According to the Calgary Herald, yesterday (Thursday), one was spotted in northwest Calgary and the Calgary police were forced to share some (to some people) obvious advice:

We're aware of a moose in the area of area of Beddington TR & Harvest Hills BV NW. Please don't approach it, especially to try and take a selfie with it.

Don't know what prompted the warning, but clearly, stupidity is international.
