According to the Lansing State Journal, Michigan State is offering the public the chance to check out their new nuclear science facility. (I have a feeling that Banana Don will be the first person in line for this...) A free open house is happening on August 20th from 1pm to 4pm at the new Facility For Rare Isotope Beams--also known as FRIB. The new $730 million facility is scheduled to be completed by 2022.
