Michigan Mom In Trouble For Taking Her Daughter’s Cell Phone Away
Not gonna lie, when my son was younger, I was one of those parents that would take his cell phone away as a form of punishment when he did something wrong. And who knew that I could've actually been charged with a misdemeanor larceny charge for taking that phone away?! Well, that's exactly what happened to a mom from Grandville, Michigan after she took away her 15-year-old daughter's cell phone as a form of punishment. According to the report from WOOD-TV, Jodie May was arrested on a misdemeanor larceny charge after her ex-husband filed a complaint saying he owned the phone that was taken away.
The charges were dismissed earlier this week and you can read more about that by clicking here. But whoa...who knew?!?!
