Michigan DNR Needs Your Help
Once again this year, the Michigan Department of Natural Resources is reminding residents they can help prevent the spread of oak wilt disease this spring.The DNR is reminding residents that from now thru July 15th, it is a crucial time when oak wilt can be transmitted from diseased oaks to healthy oaks throughout the state. Officials say that the best prevention is not to prune oak trees until after July 15th.
