If you live in the city of Lansing and have branches and tree limbs in your yard because of the ice storm in December, now is the time get them by the side of the road. According to the Lansing State Journal, on Monday, city crews in Lansing will be collecting branches and tree limbs, and even Christmas trees!

However, they do have some recommendations for the process. Residents are asked to place their branches and limbs, as well as those Christmas trees, near their curb to make the process go more smoothly. Limbs should be cut to four-foot lengths or shorter, if possible, and placed with the larger ends toward the street. Residents are also being asked to move parked vehicles from the street while cleanup crews are in their neighborhoods.

Now, if only I lived in the city of Lansing...and if only my branches were a little smaller (as pictured)...and if only someone would fix the fence that the tree limbs demolished (as pictured)...and if only I could win the lottery...okay, I'll stop.
