Lansing Area Towns as These 10 Horror Movie Tropes

It may not be Halloween, but any season can be "spooky season" when you've got a good scary movie on the television.

Not that I need a reason...I absolutely love a good slasher flick! They have just enough jump scares and whodunnit mystery to keep my attention.

However, they can be a little predictable at times...that feeling that something (or someone) is behind you and when you go to look, they aren't there; or the fact that if you're a teenager and you do anything remotely "bad", you've pretty much signed your own death certificate.

And there are countless other horror movies "rules" as well; just ask Jamie Kennedy's character, Jamie, from Scream. There's a whole scene where Jamie, the movie's film buff character, explains what you can and cannot do in a horror movie...and it's a lot. Check it out below.

But despite these stereotypes, we all find ourselves watching these scary movies, again and again, yelling at the screen to the character who is running the wrong way and is about to get killed.

That got me thinking...could I survive a horror movie? Or would I just be another stereotypical character who gets killed about halfway through? Better yet, could LANSING survive a horror movie? And if so, what character would Lansing be?
