When Do You Decorate For Halloween in Michigan?

What? Did you think I was going to rag on you because you love Halloween so much that you want to decorate for it now? Absolutely not.

On the contrary! I think you should keep doing you.

If setting out spiders, cobwebs, and all manner of spooky decorations sets your heart on fire, I say do it! If you want to be at Spirit Halloween the day it opens its seasonal doors, be there!

When Is It Too Early to Decorate for Halloween?

There may be some naysayers who lament the fact that it's not even fall yet, "Why are you decorating for Halloween?" And to those uninspired naysayers, I say hush! Is that person's black cat/witch combo really bothering you? Or do you just want to be mad about everything?

You clearly love Halloween so much that you wanted it to start in August, and that's cool with me.

And for that matter, if you decorate early for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine's Day, or any other major holiday, I feel the same way about you, too. You're just trying to spark some joy in your life, and that is commendable my friend!

So if you're in a Meijer and see someone with Halloween decorations in their cart, maybe keep your opinions to yourself.
