Jersey Mike’s Knocks Off Chick-fil-A as America’s Top-Rated Fast Food Chain

For the first time in more than a decade, Chick-fil-A has been knocked off its perch as America's highest-rated fast food chain.

Jersey Mike's Ends Chick-fil-A's 11-Year Run at #1

According to the latest American Consumer Satisfaction Index, the new #1 is Jersey Mike's. The sub shop edged out Chick-fil-A by a single point, ending the chicken giant's 11-year run at the top. Jersey Mike's got high marks for its freshness, value and variety.

So if you're a fan of those "Mike's Way" subs, you're definitely not alone.

Michigan has embraced Jersey Mike's in a pretty big way. The sub chain's website shows 89 locations across the Mitten State, making it easier than ever for Michiganders to grab a fresh sub without traveling very far.

Why Jersey Mike's Scored Higher Than Chick-fil-A

While Chick-fil-A fans probably won't be ready to surrender their waffle fries and chicken sandwiches just yet, the new rankings seem to suggest that Americans are increasingly craving something different. In fact, Chick-fil-A's score didn't even drop. Jersey Mike's simply managed to score one point higher.

How the Rankings Were Determined

The customer satisfaction study was based on more than 16,000 surveys and measured everything from food quality and order accuracy to cleanliness and speed of service.
