We first told you about the Holt Rams Special Olympics Unified Flag Football Team back in 2017 when we got the news that they were headed to Seattle for the 2018 USA Games. It's been awhile but we have an update on Team Michigan. They won GOLD! The championship team was recognized earlier this week by the Delhi Township Board of Trustees for bringing home the gold medal at the USA Games as Team Michigan.

According to the Delhi Township website, the Holt Rams Special Olympics Unified Flag Football Team has been playing together for the last four years. Members of the team include Thomas Arra, Jacob Dibean, Johnathan Dreysse, Jacob Fluke, Bryan Hull, Mitchel Johnson, Bradley Moore, Jr., Bryce Moore, Morgan Rockwell and Josh Swenson. They're going to have to wait awhile to compete again in the Special Olympics USA games because the national competition only takes place every three years. (Which means that they have more time to get even better!) Great job guys and we look forward to seeing how well you do in 2021!
