Today we celebrate Thomas Jefferson's 272nd birthday. Not only was he our third president and the author of the Declaration of Independence, but he oversaw the acquisition of the Louisiana Purchase which doubled the size of the United States and founded the University of Virginia (sorry about that NCAA Tourney this year, Tom)

But did you know that Thomas Jefferson ate a mostly vegetarian diet, was one of the first Americans to grow and eat tomatoes, and taught America how to make coffee?

And yes, I've been told I'm related to him, but I can't prove it. But, I'm sure if he were alive today, he'd being telling everybody about being related to me, so......
