The Greater Lansing area has seen all kinds of movement when it comes to restaurants lately.

Since the start of the new year, there have been over two dozen restaurant openings, a dozen closings, and we still have a dozen more that are on the way. Now, we have another restaurant to add to the ever-growing list of restaurants "coming soon".

Halal Bros 2 Go Is Coming to East Lansing

Coming soon to East Lansing is Halal Bros 2 Go.

Halal Bros 2 Go first got its start in Ann Arbor, Michigan, bringing the "unapologetic flavors of NYC halal street food" to the college town. Now, the fast-casual halal street food restaurant is opening a second location in a college town with a little less Maize and Blue.

Halal Bros 2 Go serves a combination of different Mediterranean foods, including lamb, rice, falafel, and more. And it's all served up in a variety of ways—you can get loaded fries, rice bowls, burritos, sandwiches, and more.

When and Where is Halal Bros 2 Go Opening?

At this time, there's no official word yet on when this new eatery will open its doors. But when it does open, you'll be able to find it at 547 E Grand River Avenue. This location used to be the home to Campbell's Market Basket (which is now located just next door) as well as Sweet Loraine's Fabulous Mac n' Cheez! back in 2016.

Halal Bros 2 Go isn't the only new restaurant coming to Downtown East Lansing. Hangry Joe's Hot Chicken & Wings is also moving in just a couple of businesses down. It seems we have a lot of new food on the way for East Lansing. The big question is whether they’ll be able to open before the MSU students get back this fall.
