According to the Detroit Free Press, Drew Magar, who writes for the Deadspin website, was asked by one of his readers, "Which state has the best shape?" (He was also asked if Weird Al is the best musician of the past 35 years and how small tortilla chips should be before they're not worth eating. Plus some other questions about topics best talked about in private)
But, back to "state shapes". We won!
Yes, Michigan has been confirmed as the best-shaped state. The mitten shape wows them - every time.
Ohio did not make Drew's list of either best or worst. However, Wisconsin was described as, "Big and blobby up top, just like its people.: Ouch.
