Michigan’s New ‘Country Roads Music Festival’ Announces Partial Lineup
Michigan's new Country Roads Music Festival has announced what it calls "the first phase" of its lineup for this summer.
The festival is scheduled to take place July 18-20, 2025, at The Groves of Michigan in Brooklyn, Michigan, adjacent to Michigan International Speedway.

More than a dozen regional acts have been announced as performers over the course of the 3-day festival, with national acts expected to be officially added in the days ahead.
About the Country Roads Music Festival
Organizers say the Country Roads Music Festival will feature "local and national artists, great food, and an experience ranging from bonfire acoustic sets to full-scale stage performances."

Festival executive producer Darci Keyes had originally hoped to launch a music-oriented festival at The Groves of Michigan in 2026, but when Faster Horses announced it was going on hiatus for 2025, Keyes sped up her timeline.
"We bought the property roughly two years ago specifically to develop festivals and events," says Keyes. "We just didn't think it would be a country music festival - due to Faster Horses' popularity - and we didn't expect to do a larger scale one until 2026."
The Groves of Michigan hosted the Big Fam Music & Arts Festival in 2024, and Keyes says that experience allowed all involved to see just how much goes into making a high-quality festival successful.
Comparisons to Faster Horses
Fans should not expect the Country Roads Music Festival to be like Faster Horses.
"We will intentionally remain small as we want to create an intimate environment that you just can't get with massive crowds," Keyes says of the new festival. "We will also maybe draw a slightly chiller crowd, as rowdier crowds are likely to go to other huge festivals in surrounding states."

Keyes adds that the Country Roads Music Festival is also trying to keep the price point and overall costs of the weekend for people lower than a huge festival.
"Tickets (at least the first tier) will be right under $200 for a 3-day ticket and a rustic tent site (including a parking pass) will be under $100 for Friday through Monday morning," Keyes says. "While we plan to have a beer tent, people will also be able to bring their own alcohol into the festival area which should help people save a lot."
Keyes says there's a compromise involved in having smaller crowds and lower prices - the Country Roads Music Festival won't have "near the level of headliners that a Faster Horses could afford".
"We will have awesome headliners and we think that people are going to love them and all of the support bands - most of whom are from Michigan!" she says.
Lineup for Michigan's Country Roads Music Festival
While additional national acts are expected to be announced soon, the Country Roads Music Festival has already revealed 16 regional performers who have signed on to play. Michigan Country Entertainment helped Keyes lock in nearly a dozen of them, including Louie Lee, Madison Olivia, and Chad Flores, among others.
"All of these artists have fans that will travel to come see them play," says Al Garcia of Michigan Country Entertainment. "It's not only an opportunity for them to grow their fan bases, but to expose their music to other country music fans from around the region."
Acts that have been announced as part of the Country Roads Music Festival so far include:
- BlueSkye
