Birge announced the cancellation of his planned Grand Rapids concert and two others via a Reel on Facebook on Wednesday.
Why the Decision Was Made
"It absolutely crushes me to say this, but we're going to have to reschedule the first weekend of the 'Cowboy Songs' tour," Birge told fans on the video. "There's historic snow and ice in the forecast for this weekend, and as badly as I want to play for you guys, I can't in good conscience put my fans at risk getting there, and put my band and crew at risk driving on those roads."
What Shows Have Been Postponed?
In addition to the show that had been scheduled at Elevation in Grand Rapids on Friday, January 23, Birge also postponed planned concerts in Hobart, Indiana, and Rootstown, Ohio.

The re-scheduled date in Grand Rapids is Saturday, April 25. Tickets for the previous date will still be honored.
