Tracing its roots back to 1940, the Vermontville Maple Syrup Festival is the self-proclaimed "granddaddy of them all".

It's held every year during the last full weekend of April, and features parades, pancake breakfasts with local maple syrup, syrup tastings and sales from family-owned producers, plus live entertainment and carnival rides.

The Shepherd Maple Syrup Festival

The Shepherd Maple Syrup Festival is a beloved Mid-Michigan tradition. This year's dates are April 25th through the 27th.

Highlights include sap extraction demonstrations and syrup-making workshops, a huge all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast, and a classic car show and flea market. The festival's held in Shepherd, Michigan, about 10 miles south of Mt. Pleasant.

Fenner Nature Center's Maple Syrup Festival

Held in Lansing, Fenner Nature Center's Maple Syrup Festival falls on March 22nd and 23rd in 2025.
