Comerica Park To Offer New Scanning System To Let You Skip The Lines
Tired of waiting in line to get into Comerica Park to see a Tigers game? Well, there's a new scanning system that will be unveiled this week at the ballpark that may shorten those lines...but yes, there's a catch. (A baseball pun!) :)
According to the Detroit News, a new program will allow baseball fans at the games to get into the ballpark quicker by using fingerprints to verify their identity. Keep in mind, that you'll still have to go through the security gates and display your tickets, so I'm not really sure how much time this will actually save you...however, officials say that those fans that are willing to have their fingers scanned for fingerprints will have access to shorter lines.
