Can You Tell Which Is Water & Which Is Hand Sanitizer?

When I read about how they say folks are confusing hand sanitizer with liquor and water, I laugh.

Come on man. You would really have to not be paying attention for that to happen. Are you that busy? Are you that daft? I mean they don't intentionally make hand sanitizer and put it in containers so you would think it was drinkable do they?

Ok, it's in a liquor bottle. It says hand sanitizer. And do not drink. Mind you the "do not drink" part is not as big as the "hand sanitizer" part. But it's not like it says drink me or "edible" on it.

For real? Let's just scoot by the Instant Hand Sanitizer part and get right to the label telling you that the "hand sanitizer" is indeed edible alcohol .

So with some digging and actually checking with the CDC and FDA I have found that when it comes to hand sanitizers, some are just outright banned because they contain methanol.

And in addition to telling you that it's edible alcohol, some are being recalled because of packaging.  I mean if you focus on this you should be able to single out the one that's not water.

But a quick glance, you or your kid could grab the wrong one and if you take a swig you could be in serious trouble.

Yup. This one. I found it at 5 Below. And while trying to save yourself some cash and get some hand sanitizer on the cheap, it stinks and looks like a little water bottle that a kid would take a swig out of in a hurry. You would think they would make the HAND SANITIZER and WARNING BIGGER right?

Be careful, be safe, and don't even risk it. Don't buy sanitizer that comes packaged like this.
