It is easily one of my favorite events in Mid-Michigan. I look forward to it every year. It's the Lansing Board of Water and Light Chili Cook-Off and according to the Lansing Lugnuts website, the event will be coming back to Cooley Law School Stadium. This year all the fun will take place on Friday, October 4th.

After years of the event taking place at Adado Riverfront Park, the event was moved to the Stadium for the first time last year and Cooley proved to be an excellent place to have a Chili Cook-Off. It was just the right size to fit all of the vendors and entertainment into one place. Hey, the quicker I can get to all the delicious chili, the better for me.

This year will be the 24th for the BWL Chili Cook-Off and if you've never been, you should make plans now to come join us for a truly great time downtown. There will be up to 30 different chilis and corn breads from some great restaurants and organizations from the Lansing area, and this year there are plans for a beer garden. Don't forget there'll be some great entertainment, too.
